Texas Tangle is the story of one woman and two men, both of whom hold a place in her heart. She's put into a situation by her brother and her ex-husband that leaves her with no money and the possibility of losing everything she has, including the horses she breeds.
Her neighbor, Dillon, offers to help her, and she can't turn him down. Very quickly she discovers he's interested in her romantically. But his foster brother Brett seems interested too, and she finds herself drawn to both Dillon and Brett.
What I liked about this story was Dillon and Brett. I wasn't that impressed with Nikki, but I can only guess that the reason for my ambivalent feelings toward her character is that I didn't buy her love for Dillon. Nikki came across as weak to me, in a way that I found unappealing.
Although this story does contain a threesome, there's no sexual contact between the fellas, but I could see it going that way in the future. :) Maybe they'll dump the girl... (Ooh, maybe I shouldn't have said that.)
Despite my comments, the story was entertaining, and I enjoyed reading Texas Tangle. The flaws didn't stop me from finishing the book, and I admit I read this one quickly because it held my interest to the last page.
