Get your free ebooks from Harlequin Celebrate

Right now on harlequincelebrates.com you can download 16 free ebooks to read and share. Of the 16, there's one Harlequin Blaze from June 2008. It's Slow Hands by Leslie Kelly which is Blaze #402. I've already downloaded my copy. :-)

If you've never had the chance to try out ebooks, this is a great opportunity to get some free romance ebooks to enjoy. You won't know until you try if you'll like reading them!

I recently upgraded from my PDA to a SmartPhone and I found that I loved having ebooks on my phone. I'll admit I don't have a lot of trouble reading small print, but it lets me make the text bigger if I want. I just don't need to.

You might want to pass on the info and the link to your friends so they don't miss out either. :-)

Reading: The Diary of Cozette

So, I'm just past 1/2 the way through this book. I can already tell you it will make the recommended reads list, because it's a simply captivating read. I skipped ahead and read the last two chapters, because I'm like that. When I get caught up in a book I want to know that what I'm reading is going to leave me a happy reader. ;-) I snuck my peek, and now I totally look forward to getting to the end.

Here's to Cozette.

Well, that was quick! I'm finishing up this post after having been unable to stop reading… :) I finished the book, and it was as good as I expected. I'll do my review later, but if you're looking for a captivating erotica read with a wonderful dash of romance thrown in, read The Diary of Cozette by Amanda McIntyre. I loved it!

Mercury's War by Lora Leigh is now available

I just got an email from the Penguin Group saying that Mercury's War by Lora Leigh is now available. I'm signed up to way too many newsletters, I tell you, but it has turned out for the good in this instance. I know I mentioned in my last post that I was reading Megan's Mark, the first Breed book published by Berkley Sensation. I still haven't finished it, because this weekend was so hectic, but I'm about half-way there, and it is good.

Reading: Megan's Mark

Today, courtesy my two children (with my husband's help), I received two books off my Amazon wishlist for my birthday. Today is my birthday so I'm probably not going to have a lot of time to read, but I have managed to zip along to Chapter 3 of Megan's Mark by Lora Leigh. I've been wanting the chance to read these books, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity finally!

Megan's Mark starts off with action—and I love it when an author gets right to the good stuff. :-)

I'll certainly put up a review when I'm done reading.

New Blaze Books and More Updates!

I've put up quite a few of the new and upcoming Harlequin Blaze romances. You can check them them out and buy or preorder them if you want.

I've updated my Lora Leigh book list. With the change over from static pages to a database, I just didn't get all the books for some authors entered and I'm working on them a bit at a time. However, now I've got a great many Lora Leigh books listed with plans to add more of Lora Leigh's books.

There are many more authors I need to get up to date on the site and if you have a preference for who you want updated first just let me know.

I'm excited to be getting the erotic romance lists all updated. :-) Here's to many more happy book updates.

Here's an interesting bit of information. If you enjoy reading the Harlequin Blaze books as ebooks, you can get them as a bundle by the month of publication. It's a great way to save a few dollars (and trees). :-)

Sea Witch is calling to me

My copy of Sea Witch arrived the day before yesterday, but I'm holding off reading it because I am currently reading a book by a favorite author that I somehow, someway, missed reading. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about when I say that books by favorite authors always come first. In case you're interested, the book is After Glow by Jayne Castle. Not an erotic romance, but a great read nonetheless. Emmet is very sexy.

My hope is that once I read Sea Witch I'll have found another fav to add to my list. I've already slipped and read the first few chapters, because I couldn't wait to get a taste of the book. This is my first reading of novel length fiction from Virginia Kantra. I enjoyed her story in Shifter, which was the very first Virginia Kantra fiction I'd read. This one, so far, has proven to be exceptionally intriguing and I want to read more!

Of course I'll post a review the minute I finish reading it. :-)

Historical Blaze

In July, expect a little something different with Blaze. Hope Tarr's Bound to Please is a historical romance! Set in 1460, this one is a first for the Blaze line. If you want to get in a preorder for this special book, here's a direct link.

Bound To Please (Harlequin Blaze)

I'll be treating the historicals as a miniseries within the blaze line, so you'll be able to find all the historicals on one page. However, I won't be adding the July books until later (but definitely this week). Happy reading!

Reading Recs: Crave & Running Wild

Over the last week or so I've added two new reviews to the site, and both reviewed books made it onto the recommended reading list. Running Wild and Crave: The Seduction of Snow White are both very hot, very sexy, very good books!

Review: Dark Needs at Night's Edge

I've posted my review of Dark Needs at Night's Edge by Kresley Cole. This is a wonderful addition to the Immortals After Dark series and I can't recommend it highly enough. The book itself could stand alone, but why should it? It's part of a series and I suggest you get them all and read them in order to get the most impact out of them.

I'll admit, I haven't read the story that started it all from Playing Easy to Get, but I just found out it was part of the series and I can assure you I have it on my to-be-bought-immediately list. I have five books I bought two weeks ago that I have to read first, and some ebooks on my pda to read, and frankly, I don't know if I'll be able to wait that long… :-)

Life is good. I hadn't realized how badly I've missed reading!
